Answer . The fuse is located under the dash along the driver side wall. There is an off-white box about 4 x 5 inches. On the bottom of the box is an L-shaped cover. Removing the cover, you will see the fuses. The fuse you want is the "ACC" fuse. I spent over an hour looking for this fuse when it …blew as well.. (MORE)
Answer . \nTry replacing the Accesory fuse. On a 99 the accesory fuse handles the radio and lighter.

\n. \n Answer \n. \n. \nits the accessory fuse in my 2001 metro.. found that out when my cigarrette ligher blue the fuse and the radio didnt work...\n. \nOn my car it was the same fuse as the dome light. This can be found under a white cover, on the drivers side, under the dash.
The fuse should be under the "wheel" inside, beside the brake petal. There should be a fuse box there. If the fuse is not blown, the Metro has a mechanism inside the steering wheel that often goes bad. It's a wire wrapped around on itself that winds and unwinds as you turn the wheel, rather than a s…lip ring. This mechanism often fails with age, and must be replaced- it can't be repaired. To work on it puts you in the immediate vicinity of the air bag, which means you probably don't want to do it yourself if you are not an experienced mechanic/electrician. Think: "boom"! I have seen people cut the horn wire under the dash near the fuse box, and wire in a momentary contact switch to ground, completing the horn circuit. This is not a good idea; in an emergency, you will likely reflexively pound on the horn buttons on the wheel, which you have just disconnected. If someone else is driving the car, this is even more likely. Bottom line- if the fuse is not the problem, a decent shade tree mechanic can replace the faulty part. Otherwise, it's time to go to a auto electrical shop. (MORE)
Answer . Should be listed in the owner's manual. If you don't have one and can't find one from a dealership it may be best to pick up a Hayne's or Chilton's manual for a few bucks.

Answer . It is under the hood on the driverside right behind the battery...there are 2 fuse panel boxes there for the geo metros.. There is also a 3rd fuse panel located under the dash on the driverside.
Answer . \nwell depending on the make and model...i would start by checking all around the dash board...under it, open both driver and passenger side doors and check the sides of your dash. Sometimes they are in your glovebox( older cars mostly), and if that all fails look under your hood. You c…ould always look in your owners manual as well. (MORE)

Answer . \nIt should be located in your fuse box. Most likely the fuse box is under the drivers side dash on the left side or down on the drivers side kick panel. When you remove the cover, it should be labeled as to which fuse is for which component.

eek! if by "IG", you mean "Ignition", then that's what's causing your problem; the 1995 GEO Metro 4-cylinder requires a 70amp fuse, not a 15amp! a quick note on the 70amp fuse, I've had to change mine before, and trust me, they are HARD TO FIND in most auto stores (Napa, Schucks, Autozone, etc); mos…t of the 70amp fuses available in the US are pos/neg inverted, meaning the copper nodes are sort of crossed horizontally on each other (one on top of the other, like folded arms), while the correct 70amp fuse for the Geo is neg/pos vertical, meaning the nodes are groove-side out, pointing downwards.....i had to eventually have my local Chevrolet dealership order one from the manufacturer for me. works great now, though! ^_^ (MORE)
Answer . first make sure you have the right size fuse. if it keeps blowing then you will have to figure out where the extra current is coming from. start by checking the wires. make sure that none are broken or have bare wire showing. most of the time a wire rubs against something and gets a bar…e spot. Answer . The fuse box is normally under dash on the drivers side, may have to get down low next to the drivers side door and look up and to the left. There is also a fuse box under hood on drivers side, but that has nothing to do with lights, etc.

It's a wild, shot in the dark, but I'd guess the one marked 'RADIO'. However........the fuse for the courtesy lights can also kill a radio. At least it does on my '88 Celebrity Wagon.
Driver side, left of steering column, closer to upper part of kick panel, stoop down and look up, you will see a cover,it just sweezes and snaps off. Main large fuse are under hood, close to battery box,. Best Regards, pt
The fuse box is always somewhere near the dash. (On some newer cars, it is under the hood and not inside the vehicle.) Look up under the dash near the ashtray. Open the ashtray and open the glovebox compartment. It's usually a plain, black plastic box probably with a cover. It looks rather innoculou…s/ blends in. Try to flip anything that could be a cover. There should be a bundle of wires harnessed together leading to the back of it. It's usually in the middle, but it could be to either side. There are about 20 fuses inside, and one is labeled radio. The main engine fuses (bigger and more important fuses) are located under the hood, usually on the right side in a medium …sized plastic box with a fuse diagram. Hope this helps :) (MORE)

The standard small fuses that control the radio, instrument gauges, and other interior electrical components lie under the dash in the steering wheel area (left side). It may be out in the open or under a small square plastic trim piece which can be easily removed. The main engine fuses that control… the fan and other large pieces lies inside the engine bay itself. I'm not too sure on a 96 but from memory they should be on the right side of the inner fender in a small square black box with a diagram on it. (MORE)
