The whole world will be affected in one way or another by global warming. Millions suffered from the extensive, record floods of 2011, which may or may not have been caused or exacerbated by global warming. Although we can not say that any one climatic event must have occurred specifically because o…f global warming, scientists say that these floods are consistent with their predictions. In other cases, farmers will be affected by more prolonged droughts. Those who live in coastal communities may be affected by rising sea levels, higher storm surges and coastal erosion because of global warming. Millions may be displaced from low-lying areas of Bangladesh, China and some of the Pacific Island nations. (MORE)
Some opinions from our contributors: . about 150 000 people die every year because of global warming. . None. . We do not know. People do die during heatwaves, floods and so on, and global warming is believed to contribute to these events, but no single weather event can be attributed with confi…dence to global warming. Similarly, in poorer nations people do die from starvation during extended droughts, but we can not really be sure whether the drought was caused or prolonged by global warming. i think it will be over a billon im not suerIt is impossible to know for sure. We have to wait and see how the climate is changing. People have died from famines in Africa, and from floods in Thailand and Australia. People have died of the cold during severe winters in Europe. It's possible that none of these events are caused by global warming. It's also possible that they are all caused by global warming. (MORE)
According to the latest Nielsen Global Online Survey, more than 85% of the world's online population has used the internet to make a purchase - this is about 875 million, up 40% in the last two years.
First of all, two different polls of scientists working in the field of climate science found that 97 per cent believed that global warming is real and that human activity was a substantial cause. Statistically, the samples in both cases were large enough to provide confidence in their accuracy, but… we need only take from these studies that most climate scientists believe that global warming is man made. A survey of Americans in 2009 found that 57 per cent thought that global warming was caused by human activities, down from 71 per cent the previous year, with just 33 per cent saying they believed global warming is not true. It is only available on Facebook right now, period. Perhaps later Zynga will port it to other places.

You can't because the itouch or iphone does not yet have adobe flash player and this is required to play it. Although it is possible if you are willing to evade your warranty i suggest not to do this.
It's an optical illusion. You stack fences or hedges, one in front of the other at a slight angle and it looks like taller fences or "stair step" looking hedges. Kinda cool actually. I did it on my farm.
You can be any age but if quite young it may be hard to understand.
You can fertilize farms only if you are one of the selected players that receive that option. When you go to visit your neighbors' farms, after you help them a little bag called 'Super Grow' with a x5 next to it will appear in the bottom left corner. Click on it and click some squares in your neighb…or's farm. The squares will start to sparkle. This gives your neighbor a bigger sized crop of that type and more experience points when they harvest. Farmville is not that hard. Once you get the hang of it you'll never forget it. You start by clicking the green plow of the bottom right of the screen, and you take the plow and plow some land on your farm... You then plant some seeds in the plowed land. Before you buy the seeds make sure you know… how long it will take for the plant to grow. Then plant the seeds. Come back once they have grown all the way, harvest them and then you get money. You then repeat this over and over again, getting more cash. I suggest at first spending all your money on more land, and plowing all your land... The more plowed land you have the more profit you will make. Have Fun!! (MORE)

FarmVille cannot be played without having a Facebook account because Zynga has a business partnership with Facebook and, to minimize too much complication with competition between other social media sites like MySpace, Twitter, or Friendsters, the Zynga company has probably decided it was best to st…ick with Facebook (which is the largest social media site on the Internet) than branch out to other sites. You can play farmville on the separate website (see related link below), but it still connects to your face book account for your neighbor information and such. (MORE)
You plant crops wait however long it take for them 2 grow then harvest them which gives you money then plow after you've harvested then plant some more seeds for next time, you can also get a bit of money by going on your friends farms.

You can count the number of neighbors you have in farmville by counting them in the ladder in the game, or by going to the "my neighbors" tab and counting.
you can play farmville without adding any neighbors at all, but its more fun with more neighbors. The maximum number of neighbors you may have is 300.
There are 2 places you can count them, the bar on the bottom of your farm screen, or the list on your My Neighbors tab. (The statistics on each neighbor includes how many neighbors they have, so you can ask a neighbor to check that for you.) Also, if you click Games on your Facebook homepage, you…'ll see a like to Farmville and # of "friends"in parenthesis, but it may not accurately reflect the number of neighbors, or even the number of neighbors, pending neighbors, and friends with farms. Unless you have hundreds of neighbors, and some do, the best thing to do is just count. If you do have hundreds, you probably know at least one of them well enough to ask them to check your neighbor count on their My Neighbors tab. (MORE)

Basically everyone with any knowledge now admits not only that there is serious global warming, but that it is mostly man made, and increasing. The only few who don't are being paid off. Even President Bush admitted there was no longer any question at all. This does not answer the question. W…e want to know the percentage of people who are still buying global warming now. We know that it is not everyone. Saying that anyone who does not agree with me has no knowledge does not cut it. I wonder just how much colder the Democrats want it to be. They will never tell you that. Just what ever temperature it was the day that I was born, or something like that. Not every one is still buying the line that the Global Warming zealots are putting out. You know those same zealots were trying to scare us with global cooling in the seventies. That didn't work so they switched to global warming. Now that that is not working they are starting to use the catch all term, Climate Change. It is not so much whether it is warming or cooling. The main thing is that everyone should panic and do something about it right away, without thinking, even if it is wrong and very costly. The question is phrased incorrectly. It is not a matter of "buying into" but whether or not scientific evidence supports the claim that the earth's climate is changing, and THEN how much of the change is due to human activity versus natural changes in the earth's climate. Virtually all scientists agree there has been an increase in the average global temperature over the last 40 to 60 years. It's supported by everything from ocean temperature readings to animal migrations and growth of vegetation. The debate is over whether this is a permanent trend, and over its cause. Unfortunately as the above comments show, the debate has become extremely politicized with many people insisting that the cause is related to their particular economic and/or religious beliefs, rather than looking at the underlying scientific research You missed the question all together. The question is not about your opinion of global warming. The people who buy it will say that it is true. People who don't believe in it will say it is a fraud. And no, not all scientists believe in it. The question is not do you believe in global warming. The question has to do with what percentage of people believe it and what percentage of people don't. The percentage of people who are buying it or believing in it can change from week to week, so this is not the kind of question that is answered once and for all. The answer is constantly subject to change. (MORE)
If you have the location then you can go to the world button, click it and travel. You would have to have a facebook/farmville account from when the English Countryside started though you can't just buy it.

Because there's not enough proof that CO2 emissions is really responsible for this. Only .03% of our atmosphere is CO2, plus with paleoclimatology, we understand that this weather fluctuation is a normal part of earth's history, in fact compared a millions of years ago, we are at a cool part in time…, we've only been around for a few thousand years and only really starting to understand the world in the last 100. People have been pitching Global Warming since the 70's and the evidence we have collected is not matching up to what should be happening. Science is a powerful tool but it can also be used to reach bias needs, so please keep all of these things in mind. (MORE)
