Insert the disk, follow the instructions (language and serial number), it will then install on it's own.
Copy the EA Games directory from My Documents of your old machine into My Documents of the new machine. Make sure you have all the expansion packs you previously had installed… set up on the new machine before you start playing.
\nno it will brake. you can only load it once.
click on the icon on the left side of the screen once the disk is in and click install (dont loose the cover!) and follow the instructions until you need to put in a code, cop…y the code from the back of the booklet and follow the rest of the instructions. drag the game from somewhere and click on it. a screen should come up and click on the triangle to start playing! hope that helps
Yes I have done it myself I have all the expansions and 2 computers (one's mine and the others is a friend's) so I installed them all they both save to the computer.
The sims keep stopping on your computer you have unistalled it and installed it but it still wont work It was going fine until you tried loading sims unleashed onto your computer?
It sounds like your computer is full and does not have the memory available to run the programs if they are both on your computer. Uninstall any old programs you don't use …anymore, using Control Panel. Then, use the Disk Cleanup (Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup) to remove extra temp files and such that are clogging the system. Finally, run your Defragment program. Hopefully, these steps will create the room you need to run the programs. Otherwise, you will have to recognize that your computer does not have the room to run these programs. Look at the package for minimum requirements and if you don't have somewhat more than the minimum, that will be the reason for your problems.
I am trying to load Sims 3 onto my computer and it loads fine until a certain point then it says there is an error but it can't be the disk because I have loaded it onto my laptop. How do I fix it?
\nfirst scan your computer for any problems, if they are not the computer may not have the right data to load the game
Nope. Since you need to REGISTER your game, it won't work cause there's only ONE code on eachbox. ANOTHER ANSWER::: I have Sims 3, and i went away on a road trip, and i on…ly had my moms laptop, i was anxious to play sims 3 since i recently bought it on the trip, so i downloaded it on my moms laptop. When i got home, i wanted it on my laptop, so i took the disc and put it in my laptop, downloaded it , and it works fine. No re-downloaded needed, just put the disc in either laptop and it worked.
There are 2 ways to do this.. This is how you start them both. Go to start, the All Programs, then EA Games, then click on the folder of your most recent game installed, and …click Sims 2 Body Shop. Now, create the sim. Then go to package sim. Now continue with step one or 2. 1: Click package onto computer, and then e-mail your self the pack. -----------------or------------------. 2: Click package onto the sims2.com and then when you get to your friends house, go onto sims2.com, log on to your account, and download the sim.
As long as you don't register the code.
You copy the Sim City folder onto your flash drive and enjoy!

Sims3 doesn't work on certain computers EXAMPLE: sims2 won't work on my pc
It gets in several ways: Through e-mail. That's the most frequent way, by opening an attachment in a message. Through Skype and other messaging programs. Principle is the …same - opening some file that your friend is sending you, though it's the malware program that uses Skype to send fake messages through your friends account. Opening a suspiciously looking webpage that asks to install some kind of program (which can be computer worm) Through torrent programs by downloading any kind of file which is, in fact, a virus or worm infected file. Those are the most common ways to get to your computer.

It's not possible. You will have to install and start a completely new game.
